I chose to look at the website FiveThirtyEight. I have seen articles from this website but I

don’t have too much experience with it but it looks very intriguing. This website seems to only publish stories digitally and they have a podcast. It covers five categories on the site, which are Politics, Sports, Science & Health, Economics, and Culture. It shows breaking news on the right side of the page which is a good thing to have in case you don’t want to scroll through the page and want to read about the most important events.
I think it has a well-balanced audience with all different ages because they cover 5 main aspects that people are interested in. I think the website has very good visuals. It uses pictures and charts in the articles and it also has a lot of videos. It does a lot of predictions and they use lots of statistics for that. Like they did a prediction of the election and it does predictions for sports games and give lots of information on why it chooses what it does.
It does use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The styles used for its social media platforms are similar. It posts its articles and videos on each of the platforms, I would say that on Instagram things were geared more toward politics. FiveThirtyEight does a good job interacting with its audience by using the social media platforms and I also think it does a good job making the articles interactive on the website by allowing the reader to control the charts and other visuals. I think this website does very well maintaining a clear and fluid website.
